CAL-Vinga Cape/Kristin Omdahl

I've been busy with every spare moment doing a CAL of Kristin Omdahl's Vinga Cape.   I am really enjoying the pattern.  It's easy enough to remember the main pattern, but you really do have to pay attention on the repeat rows and the row of trebles and doubles.  I've done some frogging through the adventure, but it's been worth it.

I am noticing that the yarn has definite dye differences.  I'm gonna try to not let it bother me.

Much of the work has been done on our commute.  He drives-I crochet.  I use an REI headlamp in the AM since it is dark in the car at 6 AM.  I had gotten the BuffyAnn Designs Stitch Light, but I have difficulty aiming it.  I did love the pouch it mounts on, though. I also got a threesome of yarn socks.  These I love!
After this one's done, I will need to get some lil' girl crochet done.  I will do the Holland Designs Empire Cardigan from Lisa's Crochet Calendar 2012.  I also know it's available at Annie's Attic.
I guess I should get back to work-not crochet stuff!
